Our story
My grandfather, a man with a weathered face and an encyclopedic knowledge of Sri Lanka’s backroads, began “MTours Lanka” since 1968 with a single Morris Minor car, He wasn’t just a driver; he was a storyteller, turning every journey into a living history lesson. The business was his passion, built on a foundation of warm smiles and authentic local experiences.
My father took over and grew the agency, expanding the fleet and introducing modern booking systems. Yet, he never lost the personal touch, meticulously crafting unique itineraries that went beyond the typical tourist path. He taught me the importance of blending tradition with innovation.
Now, as I stand in our office, surrounded by maps marked with my grandfather’s Daniel Musprett hand and my father’s Chaminda Musprett careful notes, I feel the weight and pride of their legacy. In a world of digital travel, I aim to preserve the heart of MTours Lanka offering not just a trip, but a genuine connection to our island, one story at a time.
